The archive of the Diputación Foral de Vizcaya (Biscay Regional Council) contains documents relating to the leprosarium of Fontilles in Alicante. There are records of the numbers of patients from Biscay in the sanitorium, dated 1911-1924, 1924-1927, 1927-1935 and 1935-1942.
