The Associação Portuguesa Amigos de Raoul Follereau is a charitable organisation founded in 1987 to deal with leprosy cases in Portugal. It provides financial support and guidance to people who have the disease, or who work with leprosy cases, and funds projects to combat leprosy in different parts of the world.
The organisation has kept records from its inception. These consist of correspondence and reports relating to the work it has carried out in Portugal, and to its financial involvement in projects throughout the world to develop hospitals and provide treatment for patients.
