Files held in the archives of Shashemene General Hospital (the former Kuyera Leprosarium) mainly deal with events in Kuyera Leprosarium and also leprosy control work in the southern parts of Ethiopia, after the evacuation of the Sudan Interior Missionaries from the area, following the fall of the Imperial regime and the coming to power of the Socialist military regime.
