Of the monotone hanging shroud C
loth of a hanging screen is used as image of a shroud for the dead while the black and white monotone is an image of death. The painting is a depiction of the lonely self under forced isolation, resulting in total deprivation of freedom that even after death one cannot stretch one’s limbs in the coffin.
