Antonio Cordero Soroa, MD (1887-1974) was a Spanish military doctor and the director of the dermatology clinic of the Military Hospital of Carabanchel. He was also director of the Dermatology Dispensary Martinez Anido. From 1947 to 1955 he organised a campaign against leprosy and dermatosis with the Director-General of Health. He initiated better preventative measures and a complete census of leprosy patients and their contacts in the whole country. He published many articles on the nature and control of leprosy.
