A boat has been a home for Ms. Jiao in the last 4 decades. Cured of leprosy, she decided to leave the leprosy village only to have her home burned and ended up with nowhere to live. She returned to the village, but there she was faced with a difficulty making a living as she was not able to grow vegetable. She once again left the village and lives on the boat. Her days go by as she helps an old man who can neither stand nor move.
