Dr B Zuiderhoek’s private collection contains reprints of all publications of importance on leprosy available from the Netherlands Indies (1655-1945; +300 years) and of postwar Indonesia and Netherlands New Guinea 1946-1962 (Irian Jaya). At the VU Medical Center, a selective and thematic-chronological index in Dutch by Dr. Leo van Bergen of the Geneeskundig Tijdschrift voor Nederlandsch-Indië (1852-1942) – the medical journal of the Dutch Indies – has been added.
