The historical archive of the Hospital of the Holy Cross and Saint Paul (Hospital de la Santa Creu I Sant Pau / Hospital de la Santa Cruz y San Pablo) holds documentation on leprosy, including inventories, correspondence, financial and legal records, patient files and plans. This material relates to two main leprosy hospitals: the Hospital de Sant Llàtzer (Hospital of Saint Lazarus), Plaça del Pedró (1457-1812); and Hospital de Sant Llàtzer, Can Masdeu (1903-1971).
