Mauro Guillen Comin, MD (1877-1932), a Spanish physician, was a director of the first National School of Leprology in Fontilles and was a delegate to the 3rd International Leprosy Congress in 1923. In collaboration with Jeanselme he published studies of the albumin reaction of nasal mucosa for leprosy diagnosis. He was also involved in studies of leprosy and its prevention in infants in 1928.
