Félix Contreras Dueñas (1900-) was medical director of the Sanatorium at Fontilles, Spain for twenty five years. For five years he led the campaign against leprosy instituted by the Director-General of Health. For ten years he was on the WHO Expert Panel on Leprosy, and also served as leprosy consultant for the Comite del Vaticano. He was a contributing editor of the International Journal of Leprosy for fifteen years and at one time he was vice-president of the International Leprosy Association. Duenas organized and directed numerous courses on leprosy for doctors and medical technicians.
